Catawba Farm Fest 2012

Half Acre Promotions is a local cooperative booking partnership focused on showcasing and preserving the rich music heritage of Southwestern Virginia. Half Acre believes that providing a non profit gathering built on the platform of arts, fresh food, and family entertainment will stimulate the regional economy. This event will directly benefit artisans, musicians, farmers, as well as local businesses.

This event for Labor Day weekend 2012 (August 31-September 2) will be held on the Catawba Sustainability Center property. Our intent is to provide an event focused on:
Food-showcase local farms; raise funds and awareness for the Sustainability Center
Arts-grow notoriety and vision of culture and art in the Roanoke Valley
Renewal-increase economic growth though tourism and enhance local business income
Music-host a diverse mix of local and regional musicians

PARKING is on location and only $3 per vehicles, Camper and RV parking available, check fees and availability on our TICKETS page, fees due at arrival.

CAMPING is on the festival grounds in designated areas and is an additional $5, for more information go to our CAMPING page.
